Rockstar has released two trailers to date. Trailer 1 dropped December 4, 2023, after leaking online roughly 16 hours ahead of its scheduled premiere and forcing Rockstar’s hand. Trailer 2 followed on May 6, 2025.
Importantly, neither trailer has shown actual gameplay systems — no HUD, no mission structure, no menus. Everything released publicly so far is in-engine cinematic footage rather than a hands-on or gameplay-walkthrough reveal, which is worth keeping in mind whenever a video claims to show “new GTA 6 gameplay.”
A third trailer is widely expected given the November launch window, with community speculation currently centered on early-to-mid August 2026. As of this writing, Rockstar has not confirmed a date, format, or content for Trailer 3 — About GTA will update this section the moment that changes.
