Can the GTX 1650 run GTA 6?

Nobody can say yet, because Rockstar has not announced a PC version or any PC requirements. The only confirmed platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. We can still compare your card with the consoles. By that comparison, a GTX 1650 is very unlikely to give a good experience. An RTX 3060 is the closest of the cards. This page is an estimate. We will update it the moment Rockstar posts real numbers.

Quick Facts

• Release date: November 19, 2026 (confirmed)
• Confirmed platforms: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
• Official PC requirements: None published (not announced)
• GTX 1650 verdict: Very unlikely to match console quality (our estimate)
• RTX 3060 verdict: Closest of the four cards (our estimate)
• Last updated: October 14, 2026

Does GTA 6 Have Official PC Requirements?

No. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. It shows no PC version, no PC price, and no system requirements. Past Rockstar games posted PC requirements only after the PC version was announced. So any site that shows “official” GTA 6 PC specs today is guessing. How Do the GTX 1650, GTX 1660 and RTX 3060 Compare to Consoles?

GTA 6 is built for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S first. So the console GPU is the best yardstick we have. The figures below come from the makers’ published specs and are rounded.

Graphics card	Memory	Power (TFLOPs)	Launched
GTX 1650	4 GB	About 3	2019
GTX 1660	6 GB	About 5	2019
RTX 3050	8 GB	About 9	2022
RTX 3060	12 GB (an 8 GB version also exists)	About 12.7	2021
Xbox Series S	10 GB	About 4	2020
PS5	16 GB shared	About 10.3	2020
Xbox Series X	16 GB shared	About 12.2	2020

TFLOPs are a rough guide. They do not compare perfectly across different brands and designs. Still, the gap between a GTX 1650 and a PS5 is large.

Can the GTX 1650 Run GTA 6?

Our estimate: very unlikely at a good level. The GTX 1650 has about 3 TFLOPs and only 4 GB of memory. The PS5 has more than three times that power and much more memory to share.
Even if a PC version came, low memory could cause stutter and missing textures. You might get a playable mode at the lowest settings, but we cannot promise it.
Also note that GTA 6 targets modern consoles. A 2019 budget card sits well below that target.

Can the GTX 1660 Run GTA 6?

The GTX 1660 is stronger than the 1650, with about 5 TFLOPs and 6 GB of memory. It would still sit below a PS5 by a wide margin. Our estimate: low settings at best, and only if Rockstar supports older cards. This is unconfirmed.

Can the RTX 3060 Run GTA 6?

The RTX 3060 is the closest match to console power in this list. The 12 GB version has about the same raw power as an Xbox Series X.
That does not guarantee console quality. PC games often need extra power to match a console build. Our estimate: a decent chance of medium to high settings at 1080p. The 8 GB version has less memory, so check which one you own.

What About the RTX 3050 and Cards With 4 GB of Memory?

The RTX 3050 sits between the 1660 and the 3060. It is borderline in our estimate. Any card with 4 GB of memory is the weakest spot, because large open worlds need a lot of memory for textures.

Is GTA 6 CPU-heavy?

We do not know yet. Rockstar's open world games, such as GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, use the processor heavily in busy areas. A dense city with many people and cars could do the same. This is a guess, not a confirmed fact.

Should You Upgrade Your PC Now?

No. Do not buy parts for a game with no PC version, no PC date, and no PC requirements. Prices or needs could change.

• Play on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S on November 19 if you want day one.
• If you must buy for PC, wait for official requirements.
• Keep your money for a card you can also use for other games.

• It lists exact FPS numbers for a game nobody can test on PC.
• It asks you to download a checker or tool.
• It shows a PC release date that Rockstar has not posted.

FAQs

Can GTX 1650 run GTA 6?

Very unlikely at a good level. No PC version is announced, and the card has about 3 TFLOPs and 4 GB of memory, far below a PS5.

Is the GTX 1650 good enough for GTA 6?

We do not think so. It is a 2019 budget card, and GTA 6 is aimed at modern consoles.

Can GTX 1660 run GTA 6?

Maybe at low settings if a PC version arrives. This is our estimate, not a confirmed spec.

Can RTX 3060 run GTA 6?

It is the strongest of these cards and has the best chance. The 12 GB version is safer than the 8 GB one.

Are there official GTA 6 PC system requirements?

No. Rockstar has not announced a PC version or posted any requirements.

How much RAM will GTA 6 need on PC?

Unknown. Be careful with any site that gives an exact number.

Do I need an SSD for GTA 6?

Not confirmed for PC. Both consoles use fast SSDs, so a solid state drive is a safe plan, but this is a guess.

Should I buy a new GPU for GTA 6?

Wait for official requirements first. Buying early risks paying for the wrong part.

When will PC requirements come out?

Only after Rockstar announces a PC version. We have no date for that.
